This is a little drawing I did for my kids. I really want to start educating my kids on the importance of saving money. Does anyone have any good ideas or plans that make saving pocket money fun. Please comment..
Here is the green cushion I made (bottom, centre). In the near future I will post some before and after shots of my lounge room makeover
Colours that POP!
I've noticed these words being used a lot lately in the interior design world. I must say I really love how some people can just get it right.
Use bold and interesting colours like red or tangerine on items that have a unique shape. Cushions are one of the quickest and easiest ways to instantly brighten up a lounge area. Use interesting bold patterns and mix up florals with stripes.
I found these before and after shots on the Design Sponge site. Just last week I made some cushion covers for my lounge room in the same green fabric. I love the pattern.
These bags are just so eco and simple. These handmade pleated bags come with a matching hand towel and a "Decora Kiamono" reuseable shopping bag. This large shopping bag folds up and fits into one of the inner pockets, great for those larger purchases that cannot fit in the handbag! You can use the handtowel to use in public toilets. Your action can help reduce the use of paper hand towels and the inefficient high powered blow dryers! What a simple yet fantastic idea!
This blog is a mother and daughter collaboration of things that inspire us, excite us, and simply just 'pop out' at us. We hope it does the same for you!
